1^st Circle Conference – Chennai Telephone District – Chennai

1^st Circle Conference of Chennai Telephone District, Chennai was held on 26.04.2018 at 11.00 hours in ICSA Programme Center, Egmore, Chennai. Shri S. Lingamurthy accorded hearty welcome to guests and delegates and spoke on the multifarious activities of BDPA (INDIA) and its establishment on 25^th April, 2006 and conversion in all India Body. Shri Thomas Jhon K, said that we have to make political approach for accelerating the movement for 3^rd PRC Implementation. Shri K. Jayaprakash spoke on the role played by the FNTO in protecting the Pension in the year 2000. Shri A,N. Patel gave brief history of the Association and its office functioning in Ahmedabad. Shri D,D, Mistry spoke at length on various Pensioners’ related irritating issues and assured that BDPA (INDIA) will discharge its duty towards pensioners. Shri D. Chandrasekharan also spoke on the issues represented by Tamilnadu Circle and thanked CHQ for supporting the demands. Shri S. Lingamurthy was unanimously elected as Circle Secretary.

On 12th July, 2009 Sunday, The BSNL & DoT Pensioners Association, Gujarat Circle, Ahmedabad had launched its own web www.bdpa.in to cater needs of BSNL & DoT Pensioners of Gujarat in general India in particular. We have incorporated orders on 1st & 2nd Wage Revision in BSNL. We have membership in more than 16 Circles and have formed Circle Branch in Kolkata, W.B. Bihar, J & K, NTR, Gujarat, AP, Chennai Telephones, Tamilnadu, Kerala & Karnataka. We have more than 10000 members throughout the country. Open session was held on 25.06.2012 and addressed by S/Shri K.C.G.K. Pillai, B. K. Sinha, PGM Ahmedabad Telecom District, Smt. Sujata Ray, PGM Finance, CGM Office, Thomas John K, K. In Gujarat, we have formed District Branches at Valsad, Surat, Vadodara, Kheda, Ahmedabad, Mehsana, Rajkot, Jamnagar, and Junagadh and have membership in all the Districts which is unique achievement. We have established our office at Central Telegraph Office Compound, Bhadra Ahmedabad and our office remains open from Monday to Friday during 14.00 to 18.00 hours. Shri H.C.
