Meeting with Member (Services) / DoT
Today, GS, Com R.K. Mudgal and Com D.C. Sharma met Member ( Services) to know the latest status of Pension Revison.
Member (Services) informed us that both Secretary (Telecom.) and he personally spoke to Additional CGCA, Respected Madam Anuradha Joshi Durgapal and asked her to expedite sending data regarding financial implications on various fitments that it is working on to DOT as quickly as possible.
Yesterday, we had reported wrongly that CGCA will send the data regarding financial implications directly to DoE. But the data will be sent to DoT directly by Addl CGCA withinin a couple of days.
After receiving the required information from Addl CGCA, DoT will take a considered and consensus view on the the quantum of fitment in consultation with Hon MoC and thereafter the proposal regarding fitment will be sent to DoE for their consideration and approval.
Thereafter, we met Addl DCGA and requested her to expedite sending the information regarding financial implications to DoT. Madam informed us that the issue is being dealt with on priority and that within just a couple of days the desired information would be sent to DoT. (SNPWA)
