(4) Payment of arrears of 78.2% IDA merger to the serving employees:

When order for 78.2% IDA merger was issued by the DoT, for serving employees, a condition was imposed that arrears would not be paid. This is contradictory to the agreement signed between the Forum and BSNL Management. The Staff Side demanded that the CMD BSNL should personally take up this issue with the DoT, for the cancellation of the clause which says that arrears would not be paid. It was accepted.

(5) Night Free call:

BSNL has introduced Night Free call to its landline customers. However, the same facility is not extended to the rent free connections provided to employees and pensioners. Staff Side demanded that same should be extended. Management Side said that it is accepted.
