3^rd Circle Conference of BDPA (INDIA) , Chennai Telecom Circle, Chennai held on 17.08.2024

J3^rd Circle Conference of BDPA (INDIA), Chennai Telecom Circle, held on 17.07.2024 in a Annamalaiyar Mahal, Saidapet, Chennai. Shri S. Lingamurthy, Circle President presided over the Conference. S/Shri S. Lingamurthy, M. Subramaniam, D.D. Mistry, A.N. Patel D. Chandrasekharan, D. Muthuswami, K. Vallinayagam, K. Jayaprakash and other prominent leaders address the Conference. The main focus of speeches of all the speakers was focused on inordinate delay in settlement of Pension Revision for BSNL Pensioners.

GS BDPA (INDIA) enlightened on all the developments since 2018 and the vigorous efforts made by the BDPA (INDIA), convening Joint of Meeting of All the Pensioners Associations of India by DoT. Court Case by some Associations and clearly said that the Association is for BSNL Pensioners, Pension as per 3^rd P.R.C. Recommendations with 15% fitment and ready to negotiate with DoT Officers and come to an amicable solution in the larger interest of the Pensioners. Further course of action with be decided in the 9^th C.W.C. Meeting convened on 10^th and 11^th August 2024 in Kurukshetra.

Shri S. Lingamurthy and M. Subramaniam were elected as Circle President and Circle Secretary for the ensuing term.

G.S. BDPA (India) also participated in the CWC Meeting of the NUBSNLW (FNTO) and assured cooperation of the Association for early settlement of Wage Revision of Working Employees,

More than150 Pensioners were present in the conference.
