3rd District Conference – Valsad District
3rd District Conference and 5th “Sneh Samelan” of Valsad District was held at Bilimora on 7th January, 2018 in the “Gayatri Shakti Vidyapirth Satsang Hall” at 11.00 hours under the Presidentship of Shri N.M Patel. Smt. Sumanlataben K Verma, President, Bilimora Nagar Palika and Shri H.R.Patel Sr.G.M. Valsad Telecom District were the guest of the function.
The Conference was inaugurated by Smt. Sumanlataben K. Verma, President Bilimora Nagar Palika. Shri Shivpujanram, District explained organizational activities and achievements and said that in near future the District will cross 301 membership figures and thanked the Administration for settlements of the Pensioners grievances.
Shri A.N.Patel, Executive President, gave the history of the Association and its working pattern and functioning of the BDPA (INDIA) Office at Ahmedabad.
Shri D.D. Mistry, GS spoke on the present irritating issues of the BSNL Pensioners, latest development on formation of 3rd P.R.C. Negotiations, IDA Arrear in Cash from 01.01.2007, Medical Reimbursement in Cash, need of Building Office, Publication of Quarterly Magazine, activities in the country etc.
Smt. Sumanlataben K. Verma thanked the Organizers of the event providing her to be amongst with senior citizens and know their problems.
Shri H.R. Patel, Sr. GM, Valsad District who is also holding the charge of Surat Telecom District attended the conference and conveyed his greetings and assured the cooperation from his side and said the preparation of payment of quarterly Medical Payment in Cash is ready for 70% and rest will be by the month end and the payment will be effected to all the Pensioners in one stroke.
Shri N.M. conveyed vote of thanks. More than 225 Pensioners attended the function and 25 new members join the Association.
