6th District Conference of BDPA (INDIA), Vadodara Telecom District held on 05.03.2025
On 5th March, 2025, BDPA (INDIA), Vadodara Telecom District, held its 6th District Conference in J.M. Pandya Hall, Vadodara with presence of more than 450 Pensioners.
In first session, agenda items of District were discussed and Activity Report and Accounts were passed. H.R. Tiwari & Ashok B. Thakkar were elected as District President & District Secretary respectively.
The Open Session was inaugurated by Shri S.C. Maheshwari, S.G. BPS New Delhi. Shri H.R. Tiwari presided over the function as President.
S.C. Maheshwari, SG BPS, Anil N. Patel Executive President and Dinesh D. Mistry GS were honored with bouquet and memento. BDPA (INDIA) C.G.Q. presented hand-painted Portrait of S.C. Maheshwari to him as permanent memory of the Association.
Shri S.C. Maheshwari spoke at length on previous seven CPC, its lacuna and working pattern. He also spoke on need for Updating the Aykroyd Formula which is now outdated.
He touched many irritating issues of MTNL/BSNL Pensioners, BPS concern for delay in their Pension Revision and BPS stand on the issue and also assured to ensure inclusion of Pension Revision for MTNL/BSNL in terms of reference for 8th CPC. Copy of his speech was circulated in the meeting.
Anil N. Patel on exemplary function of Vadodara Telecom District which has shown how to grow and serve the Pensioners fraternity.
Dinesh D. Mistry spoke on the issues which has resulted in to inordinate delay in Pension Revision of MTNL/BSNL Pensioners and assured that the Association is alive on it and will continue its struggle to achieve Pension Revision.
Shri Surinder and Ms Meenakshi Gupta, Afsar organization/BPS MOU Partner were also honored and they spoke on need and opportunities available for 2nd carrier after retirement and the facility they offer for free uploading of VC by retired persons interested for 2nd opportunity.
All the active workers of the Districts were also honored for their contribution towards the increasing strength of the association and also assisting in its multifarious activities.
