On 26.12.2015, members of AIBSNLPWA met Hon’ble Sri. Ravi Shankar Prasad, Honourable Minister for Communication and Information Technology at Madurai during his visit to the city and submitted a memorandum requesting his intervention in settling our long pending demands including 78.2% IDA Merger issue.
It was informed that the Minister had already approved the Draft Cabinet Note. Now, the final Cabinet Note has to be submitted to the Cabinet Secretariat for including the item in the agenda for Cabinet Meeting. There is no problem in the case. Minister assured that it would be expedited.
On demand of future pension revision with the fitment formula suggested by CPC: The Minister assured that he would look into the matter and discuss the matter with the concerned officers.
