9th Central Working Committee Meeting of BSNL & DOT Pensioners Association (India), held on 10th & 11th August, 2024 in Kurukshetra (Haryana), in Saini Seva Samaj. Shri Thomas John K. All India President presided over the meeting. Majority of Circles participated lively and expressed their views on how to strengthen the Association numerically and financially and to march ahead to achieve goal of over due Pension Revision for BSNL Pensioners.
The CHQ Office Bearers of Ahmedabad were accorded warm welcome at Kurukshetra Railway Station by Shri Baldev Raj and his colleagues.
In the meeting all the participants including observers were honored with garland and memento of Lord Krishna with Cow.
Two minutes silence was honored in the memory of late Shri A.K. Shrivastava, Circle Secretary, Jharkhand recently and all other members and dignitaries of the Associations.
The C.H.Q. honoured Shri Yash Pal Sharma, Circle Secretary, Haryana for holding the CWC at short notice with all comforts and hospitability. by Shawl and memento.
All Agenda items were discussed with live participation and interaction by participants. The Minutes of 8th CWC and Accounts for the year 2022-23 & 2024-24 were read and passed unanimously.
Shri A.N. Patel, Executive President enlighten the CWC over the latest position of amendments to Constitution passed in 4th AIC at Kanyakumari.
It was decided to continue to collect Rs.100/- per member per year by all the Circles/Districts towards C.H.Q. Maintenance Fund.
The Following Resolutions prepared by Shri .D. Chandrasekharan, Executive President were read and adopted unanimously.

Telangana Circle was requested to conduct next AIC and it was assured by the participants that Shri T. Karuna Prasad, Circle Secretary, who is abroad will be consulted and with due sincerity they will examine feasibility of hosting the next AIC.
It was decided to participate all the programs of MTNL/BSNL Joint Forum of BSNL Pensioners Associations and pursue for our Pension Revision as per 3rd P.R.C. Recommendations with 15% fitment.
The C.W.C. Participants also remain present in the Circle Conference of Haryana Circle and also Three District Conferences of the Circle. S/Shri Thomas John K, M.R. Vashist and D.D. Mistry addressed the Joint Session of Circle/District Conferences.
All the participants including observers of Circle/District Conferences were honored with garland and memento of Lord Krishna with Cow.
Appreciable media coverage was given by the print media and also on local news channels with interview the Office Bearers.
The CWC was concluded with a vote of thanks.
