A meeting was held today the 14th June 2022 with CGMT BSNL J&K on above agenda. DGM Finance was also present in the meeting. CGMT conveyed that a liability towards medical claims as on date is Rs.4.59 crores and a demand for sanction of funds was projected to C.O New Delhi .Last time only Rs.44 lacs were received. medical claims have been cleared up to Feb 2019. details about pending cases up to said date was not available. Details of cases where payments returned due to closed or non operative accounts was also not provided.
Regarding posting of bills on ERP to circle office by SSAs it was conveyed that the details are ready with SSAs but there are instructions from corporate office ND for not posting bill details on ERP to circle office .SSAs will forward information to circle office once funds are received. However DGM finance conveyed that the funds have been demanded for the Amounts lying in SSAs and not sent on ERP to circle office. However after detailed discussions and pressing by the Association side that things are not updated and streamlined in SSAs. So some perusal from circle office is needed.
Then CGM agreed and issued instructions to DGM Finance to address a letter to all SSAs in this regard and give copy to Association for perusal at their end also at SSA level. CGMT also agreed that CO Delhi will be pursued afresh for allocation of more funds .
CGMT told us to provide details of names of specific persons also who’s claims are pending Association described that for the last two years people remained confined to homes due to Covid secondly pensioners are scattered all over state even out of state also a number of pensioners mostly family pensioners old aged and otherwise can not operate WhatsApp. Other reasons also like change of contact numbers/ residential address therefore all pensioners can not be contacted which CGMT also realized and was convinced.
