Stand of Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances on Pension Revision of BSNL Pensioners as per 3rd P.R.C. as on 09.09.2022.
” This is a policy matter and not an individual grievance. However, it is stated that pension revision follows pay revision of serving employees. Earlier also, pension of permanent absorbees in BSNL/MTNL drawing pension in IDA pattern has been revised on implementation of 2nd PRC in 2007 for serving employees. The case may be closed accordingly.” – Roshni Sohni (DDG Establishment DoT), New Delhi.
We have filed appeal; against the said reply saying ” Our proposal was BSNL Employees Wage Revision followed with Pension Revision separately as per provision contained in 3rd Chapter of P.R.C. Report. BSNL/MTNL are PSU formed to implement government social policies achieving goal and not to earn profit and this being reason in villages panchayat BSNL is providing value added services incurring huge loss which has to be make good by government as per original agreement. We wish examination of proposal to relax clause of PBT for BSNL Employees Wage Revision and prepare Cabinet Note Accordingly. Kindly re-examine the issue on this count.”
