Latest Position on BSNL Pensioners’ Pension Revision:
Meeting with Controller General Communications Accounts, (CGCA):
GS, Com R. K. Mudgal and Com D. C .Sharma had a 90 minute meeting with CGCA. When we informed him that file regarding financial implications has not been sent to DOT, he immediately enquired from Addl CGCA who informed him the file has been sent to Accounts Section of DOT on late evening of 22nd, Jan(Last Friday).
Thereafter we had a threadbare discussion on the issue of Pension Revision covering each and every aspect of the issue in minutest terms. Very frankly, CGCA shared every detail relating to the issue. Regarding quantum of fixation, CGCA Informed that final call in this regard has to be taken by D.O.E and, of course, the stand of the Hon MOC on the issue would be also very crucial. Finally, we thanked him for sparing so much of time and sharing the details relating to the issue
Meeting with DDG( E)/ DOT:
Met DDG(E) and had a very detailed discussion on the issue with her for about half an hour. DDG(E) confirmed that file has been received by the DDG(Accounts)/DOT. After the file having been examined by Accounts Wing, Establishment Section will receive the file and after a very thorough examination Establishment Section will finalize note on the issue and refer it to IFD/ DOT for their decision.
Meeting with M(S)/ DOT:
M(S) was informed that concerned DDG(Accounts) who has received file from CGCA is on tour and that the file has been pulled back and sent to Advisor (Finance). In our presence, M(S) spoke to Advisor (Finance) and asked him to push the file very expeditiously.
