GS BDPA (INDIA) ADDRESED SPECIAL GENERAL BODY MEETING OF BDPA (INDIA) CHENNAI TELECOM CIRCLE, CHENNAI..
On 22.07.2023, a special general body meeting of BDPA (INDIA) Chennai Telecom Circle, Chennai was convened by the Circle Secretary Shri M. Subramanian, under the presidentship of Shri A. Gangadharan. Shri S. Lingamurthy, All India President FNTO, was also present.
The Circle Secretary briefed the audience on the latest status of BSNL Pensioners Pension Revision and various action being initiated by the GS BDPA (INDIA).
Shri S. Lingamurthy, All Inia President well come all and honoured D.D. Mistry & A.N. Patel by shawl. Shri S. Nambiar, District President BDPA (I), Tiruchirappalli Telecom District, also honoured G.S.
S/Shri M. Subramanian, A. Gangadharan, S. Lingamurthy, S. Nambiar and other spoke on the need of strengthening BDPA (INDIA).
Shri A.N. Patel gave brief history of the Association and said how it was formed and gave detailed of latest organisational position and its various activities.
Shri D.D. Mistry spoke on the latest status of BSNL-MTNL Pensioners Pension Revision as per 3rd P.R.C. and made fervent appeal to make the Protest Day Programme of 31st July 2023 a grand success and strengthen the movement. He also emphasised upon enrolment of maximum numbers of retirees as members in our Association. Unless we increase our numerical strength; we can not expect authorities to respond. He said that for Dharna Programme at New Delhi in August for five days, members can donate to the CHQ so as to make necessary stay arrangement of members of association who will be coming to New Delhi to participate in the programme. He said that to represent our grievances, regular function of CHQ Office is essential and appealed for donation for Office Maintenance Allowance. He also spoke on Medical Reimbursement issues and other irritating issues. Copies of Juy 2023 issue of BSNL PENSIONES NEWS (GUJARAT) – July 2023 issue were given to all the participants.
In the meeting Ten new members were enrolled. Shri S. Nambiar also gave list of new 22 members in the meeting.
