MTNL/BSNL PENSIONERS PENSION REVISION AS PER PR.CAT JUDGEMENT – LATEST STATUS.
We are keeping our close eye on the developments on the issue in DoT and also Corporate Office on the issue of MTNL/BSNL Pensioners Pension Revision as per Pr. CAT judgment. It seems that in DoT hactic meetings and discussion on the issue is going on to find out workable solution and avoiding to file appean as far as possible. Non unanimity of the Pensioners Association on the fixation formula appears main hurdle in settlement of the issue.
We firmly feel that all the Pensioners Association should try to come to a unamimous view to avoid filing of an appeal or else it will take further longer time to settle the issue.
As it appears, the finalisation may take two to three months even if appeal is not filed.
We are persuing the issue at our level for expedite settlement as per 3rd PRC Recommendations.
