Joint Forum of MTNL/BSNL Pensioners Association Virtual Meeting held on 20.08.2024.

JOINT FORUM OF BSNL MTNL PENSIONERS ASSOCIATIONS, New Delhi – 21-08-2024.

A virtual meeting of the Joint Forum was held on 20-08-2024.

The following comrades participated.

The other two constituents did not participate.

Com. V A N Namboodiri presided. Com. K G. Jayaraj, Convener welcomed one and all. He reported that no modified draft of the notice / memorandum is received from Com. G. L. Jogi as assured in the last meeting.

Then Com. G L Jogi clarified that he has consulted all his functionaries and reached to a unanimous opinion that in view of the contempt proceedings the final decision on continuing in the Joint Forum will be taken in their AIC being held on 23-24 September, 2024.Com. G L Jogi further stated that he is desirous to continue to be part of the Joint Forum and exuded confidence that the AIC will take a positive decision in this regard.

Thereafter active discussion took place on modifying the draft notice / memorandum and authorized Com. K G Jayaraj, Convener to modify the draft reflecting the opinions of all.

It was also decided to hold the postponed March to CCA Offices on 05-09-2024.

The meeting was concluded at 5.15PM.

On 12th July, 2009 Sunday, The BSNL & DoT Pensioners Association, Gujarat Circle, Ahmedabad had launched its own web www.bdpa.in to cater needs of BSNL & DoT Pensioners of Gujarat in general India in particular. We have incorporated orders on 1st & 2nd Wage Revision in BSNL. We have membership in more than 16 Circles and have formed Circle Branch in Kolkata, W.B. Bihar, J & K, NTR, Gujarat, AP, Chennai Telephones, Tamilnadu, Kerala & Karnataka. We have more than 10000 members throughout the country. In Gujarat, we have formed District Branches at Valsad, Surat, Vadodara, Kheda, Ahmedabad, Mehsana, Rajkot, Jamnagar, and Junagadh and have membership in all the Districts which is unique achievement. We have established our office at Central Telegraph Office Compound, Bhadra Ahmedabad and our office remains open from Monday to Friday during 14.00 to 18.00 hours. Shri H.C. S/Shri Thomas John K and D.D. Mistry were elected as All India President and General Secretary for 2019-20-21-22 There is long way to go and reach our goal of selfless service to fraternity.
