STATUS OF PENSION REVISION CONTEMPT CASE IN Hon. PB CAT, Delhi – 12.09.2024

Please note that the Contempt Petitions No. 301/2024 and 302/2024 was listed today as Item No. 10 and 11 respectively before the bench comprising Hon. Member Mrs. Harvinder Kaur Oberoi & Dr. Sumeet Jerath at the Central Administrative Tribunal, Principal Bench in Court No. 3. Ms. Gauri Puri appeared on behalf of the Applicants and requested that the matter be adjourned to a date after 23.09.2024 which is the next date of hearing before the Hon. High Court in the Writ Petitions filed by DOT. However, Shri. Kaushik, appearing for DOT in the connected matter, requested for closure of the contempt petitions. However, Ms. Puri apprised the Hon. Tribunal submitted that this submission has been made previously and in view of the same, detailed orders had been passed by the Hon. Tribunal earlier. She requested that the matters be re-notified since the Hon. High Court had directed the Applicants herein not to press the contempt petitions. Upon hearing the above submissions, the Hon. Tribunal was pleased to adjourn the matter to 18.10.2024.
