BSNL/MTNL PENSION REVISION – CONTEMPT PETITION ADJOURNED TO 18.10.2024.
In the Contempt Petition No. 300/2024, which was listed on 12-09-2024 before the Central Administrative Tribunal, Principal Bench with Hon’ble Members Mrs. Harvinder Kaur Oberoi and Dr. Sumeet Jerath, Ms. Asmita Singh, representing the Applicants, requested an adjournment until after 23.09.2024, the next hearing date for related Writ Petitions in the High Court. Mr. Kaushik, representing DOT, sought closure of the contempt petitions. Ms. Singh argued that this request had been addressed previously with detailed orders from the Tribunal and noted the High Court’s direction not to press the petitions at this time. The Tribunal, upon consideration, adjourned the matter to 18.10.2024.
