Joint Special Meeting of BDPA (INDIA) & FNTO Karaikudi SSA Held on 29.09.2024 under Presidentship of Sri B.Manoharan, DS/BDPA(I)/KKD SSA.

The meeting begun with union flag hoisting and Sri R. Palani, serving TT hoisted the FNTO flag while Sri M.Ramachandran, Retd.SDE hoisted the BDPA(I) flag.

Sri K. Ravi, Retd.AO & formerly BS/FNTO/SVA welcomed all and the special invitees viz. Sri S. Muthukumar, Ex.DS/FNTO/Madurai as well as Sri A. Manoharan, DT/BDPA(I)/Madurai greeted the gathering.

Sri K. Kumar (Retd. DGM), Sri M.Ramachandran (Retd.SDE), Smt.G.Alagammai (Retd.OS), Sri S.Albonse (Retd.STS & Ex.DS/FNTO), Sri R.Pandi (Retd.AO & DT/BDPA(I)) and the Branch Secretaries S/Sri S.Arumugam (SVA), A.Sivakumar (KKD), S.Kalipandi (MMA), N.Kumar (RMS) spoke on the occasion.

Sri G.Muthukumaran, AGS/BDPA(I) elaborately explained about the issues like Pay Revision, Pension Revision, BSNLMRS Payments, Family Pension cases and individual grievances.

Six senior members, who have completed 70 years of age, were honoured with shawl. Sri S.Krishnamoorthy, Retd.CS had sponsored for the lunch in a special manner. The meeting was very well organized by the members of Sivagangai Branch enthusiastically and more than 60 participants were there from all over the District.

On 12th July, 2009 Sunday, The BSNL & DoT Pensioners Association, Gujarat Circle, Ahmedabad had launched its own web www.bdpa.in to cater needs of BSNL & DoT Pensioners of Gujarat in general India in particular. We have incorporated orders on 1st & 2nd Wage Revision in BSNL. We have membership in more than 16 Circles and have formed Circle Branch in Kolkata, W.B. Bihar, J & K, NTR, Gujarat, AP, Chennai Telephones, Tamilnadu, Kerala & Karnataka. We have more than 10000 members throughout the country. In Gujarat, we have formed District Branches at Valsad, Surat, Vadodara, Kheda, Ahmedabad, Mehsana, Rajkot, Jamnagar, and Junagadh and have membership in all the Districts which is unique achievement.
