Deduction of Income Tax on Interest of Deferred Retirement Gratuity
CCA Offices of several Circles deducted the Income Tax on Interest of Deferred Retirement Gratuity from VRS 2019 Pensioners. In the month of August 2024 this issue was raised by AP Circle Secretary. The issue was taken up with Directorate SAMPANN / CGCA Technical team. It is ascertained that all CCA Offices are directed not to deduct Income Tax on Interest of Deferred Retirement Gratuity.
