File of case on Commutation of Pension
We are in receipt of many queries, why we are not taking any decision on filing OA regarding stopping of recovery of commuted pension after 12 years.
In view of certain intricacies, we are going very cautiously, and in view of the stay granted by Hon. Delhi High Court on 11th Sept 2024, on the interim order passed by AFT( Armed Forces Tribunal) on similar matter. The interim order of AFT was challenged by U.O.I in Hon. Delhi High Court.
In view of this important development, and we are very closely monitoring the developments in Delhi High Court on this matter and may if we find it appropriate, will think of legal action at appropriate time. As of now, conditions are not legally conducive for filing of an OA in Hon. PB CAT New Delhi.
