Meeting with Shri M.S. Dhillon, CGM Gujarat
On 1st July, 2016 S/Shri A.N. Patel and D.D. Mistry met Shri M.S. Dhillon, CGM Gujarat and discussed the following issues.
An issue of inordinate delay in payment of indoor treatment reimbursement to Pensioners of Vadodara Telecom District was discussed. He assured to take necessary action. The PGM Finance also said that letter is received and action are on the way.
Retention of Staff Quarter by Smt. Ramatuben Rathod, Family Pensioner for one year was discussed. It was transpired during the course of discussion that application is examined by the concerned section and is found to be in order. We were informed that since the TDM Godhra is competent authority to sanction retention, the case will be returned to him with specific instruction.
Issue of early finalization of Family Pension case for Smt. Varshaben M. Patel, was also discussed. It was brought to the notice of the CGM that the issue is pending and gets move whenever we address letter to him. This time also though the file is moved the pensioner is informed that the case cannot be processed as Pensioner has not supplied sufficient information. The CGM assured for early finalization of the case by the PGM ATD and the Family Pensioner was advised to produce copy of her Pan Card with self attestation.
During the course of discussion, the CGM was considerate and sympathetic to hear our issues for which we are thankful to him.
