Meeting with Shri V. Ramesh, PGM Ahmedabad Telecom District, Ahmedabad
S/Shri A.N. Patel and D.D. Mistry met Shri V. Ramesh, PGM Ahmedabad Telecom District, Ahmedabad on 12.09.2016 morning. The DGM (Finance) was also present in the meeting. They discussed issue of 78.2% Merger and Revised Pension Fixation Memo and submission to the CCA Gujarat. We were informed that the work is in full swing and under constant monitoring by the Administration and assured that so far as it relates to pre- 01.01.2007 Pensioners it will be completed by the month end. For Post 01.01.2007 retirees it is also handled efficiently but it may take some time but an attempt will be made to meet with the prescribed time frame. The revised Memos are prepared after consulting the CCA Office so that there will be no difficulty in its further procedure by them.
While discussing a Family Pension case of Smt. Varshaben M Patel, widowed Daughter, it was brought to the notice of the PGM that the case is pending since last more than in his office and deserves his personal attention, as all the required authenticated documents have already been supplied by the Pensioner. It was brought to the notice of the PGM that the case is inordinately delayed as there is no proper coordination between administrative and accounts wing trying to score more over each other resulting in to creating agonies for the family pensioner. The PGM assured to look into. Further we were informed that there are similar several cases pending with the administration and could not be finalized due to one reason or the other.
