The BSNL & DOT PENSIONERS’ WELFARE ASSOCIATION, Tiruchirappalli SSA hold its 13th Annual General Meeting of the Association on 20.12.2016 under the Presidentship of M. ABDUL Wahab.
The proceedings were conducted by R. THIAGARAJAN. He gave welcome to Special Invitees and members of the Association. Two minutes silence was observed to pay homage to Chief Minister Selvi J. Jayalalitha and other members.
The Pensioners day was also celebrated simultaneously on the same day and Birthday Celebration of pensioners who attained 70 years was observed and also they were honored by presenting shawl and gifts Annual Report and Accounts were passed in the meeting.
Shri K. Vallinayagam addressed the gathering and said that we got the government pension after struggling for 3 days strike.
Shri S. Nambiar CSS addressed the meeting and explained how pensioners are getting government Pension and also touched Supreme Court judgment on the subject.
Shri V. RAJU, Pr. G.M. and Mani DGM also greeted the pensioners. Secretaries of service unions were also present.
Smt. G. Meenakshi was elected as Secretary who gave vote of thanks.
