AIFPA Chennai 36^th AGM was held on 24^th July, 2015 at Sri Alamelumanga Kalyan Mandapam, 19, Radhakrishnan Street, T. Nagar, Chennai. Dr. G. Sundaram. IAS (Retd), Govt of India inaugurated the Conference. Padmashree Dr. V.S. Natarajan addressed on “ Generate Gap” Dr. Abirami Premnath, BNYS talked on “Naturopathy in Elder Care”. Dr. Prithika Chary, talked on “Aging Brain” with slide show.

Shri D. Balasubramanian, GS presented Annual Report for 2014-15 and treasurer presented the accounts,

Shri D.D. Mistry, GS BDPA (INDIA) was honoured with shawl by the GS AIFPA for his contribution for BSNL Pensioners welfare acivities. Shri D,D, Mistry, addressed the Conference enlightening on the latest development on 78.2 IDA Merger issue and urged the AIFPA to represent the same. He said that the autocracy is causing inordinate delay in settlement. He said that pensioners should be ready for legal struggle as there is no possibility of considering our demand w.e.f. 01.01.2007. He said that clearance from two nodal ministries is awaited and finance ministry has sought for certain clarification, In restoration of Medical Allowance in Cash, he said that the issue is delayed as CGMs are not providing required information, He also touched irritating issues of BSNL Pensioners on various anomalies and latest status,

On 12th July, 2009 Sunday, The BSNL & DoT Pensioners Association, Gujarat Circle, Ahmedabad had launched its own web www.bdpa.in to cater needs of BSNL & DoT Pensioners of Gujarat in general India in particular. We have incorporated orders on 1st & 2nd Wage Revision in BSNL. We have membership in more than 16 Circles and have formed Circle Branch in Kolkata, W.B. Bihar, J & K, NTR, Gujarat, AP, Chennai Telephones, Tamilnadu, Kerala & Karnataka. We have more than 10000 members throughout the country.
