Surat & Tapi Districts BDPA (INDIA) Annual General Body Meeting Held.
Surat and Tapi District’s Annual General Body Meeting-cum-Sneh Samelan was held on 5th January, 2019 at Badrinarayan Hall, Adajan Gam Char Rasta, Surat. Shri M.M. Ghadiyali District President presided over the meeting and About 300+ members were present. Members having completed 75 years were honored with a shawl and a flower. S/Shri A.N. Patel, D.D. Mistry, R.C. Sharma, H.C. Bhatia and N.A. Patel attended from Circle Head Quarter.
Shri B.G. Salunke presented brief activities report furnishing details of the branch activities such as 1) enrollment of maximum members 2) Campaign for Digital Life Certificate at Surat and Ankleshwar with the help of Shri. J. P. Patel. 3) Pensioners problems to CCA in Pension Adalat at Surat on 28.12.2018.
Shri G. C. Surati, CAO o/o GMTD Surat assured to do his best for payment of Medical Bills at the earliest. He said that he will represent the case of non-functioning of landline and WLL phones to higher authorities.
Shri Jayeshbhai Desai, retired Manager Bank of India appreciated the noble activites of BDPA (INDIA) and assured his services to help the association in case of problems faced with banking system.
Shri A.N. Patel gave brief history of BDPA (INDIA) formation and enlightened on multifarious activities of the Association, its needs and members responsibilities.
Shri D.D. Mistry spoke on the latest position of BSNL Pensioners Pension Revision from 01.01.2017 and stand taken by the BDPA (INDIA) demanding Pension Revision as per 3rd P.R.C. Recommendations.
Shri M.M. Ghadiali, District President in his concluding speech addressed the house and thanked the members to attend the function despite of cold morning. He said that the members who do not have P. O. S. B. A/C should open an account for payment of pension to avoid any problem in future.
