48th Get to Gather – Ahmedabad – Gandhinagar District
48th Get to Gather – Ahmedabad – Gandhinagar District was held on 12.06.2019 in Ahmedabad Medical Association Hall, Ahmedabad. The programme commenced with prayer by Shri H.J. Bhatt. A tribute was paid to 22 kids/victims of Takshshila Complex Fire, Surat on 24.05.2019. A resolution was passed conveying heartfelt condolences to bereaved families and was forwarded to the Mayor, Surat Municipal Corporation, Surat.
A Memorandum to Hon’ble PM requesting BSNL Pensioners Pension Revision w.e.f. 01.01.2017 as recommended by the 3rd PRC was signed by all the members present in the meeting.
A seminar on ´Healthy Ageing” was conducted by Dr. Irsan Trivedi, who is working for the cause of Elderly since more than ten years.
Shri A.N. Patel spoke on various activities being undertaken by the Association, brief report on 3rd AIC in Thiruvalla in April, 2019 and detailed information on the “BSNL Pensioners Telephone Directory 2019 – cum – Hand Book” 5th Edition.
Shri D.D. Mistry spoke on latest developments on the BSNL Pensioners Pension Revision issue and also on the issue of inordinate delay in payment of Medical Reimbursement for the pensioners with and without vouchers.
