BSNL & DOT PENSIONERS ASSOCIATION (INDIA) CELEBRATED PENSIONERS’ DAY ON 14.12.2024
On 14.12.2024, BSNL & Pensioners Association (India), P &T & Others CG Association and Central Govt. Pensioners Association, Ahmedabad jointly celebrated Pensioners Day in Avigrah Thal Banquest Hall, where more than 50 pensioners participated. Shri Anil Patel, Executive President spoke on the Pensioners day celebration and emphasized upon the need of maintaining unity amongst pensioners to save the pension in future. He suggested meeting of all the Local Pensioners Association simultaneously in their office quarterly/half yearly. The suggestion was accepted and thanked Vedanta Clinic for providing opportunity for such unique gathering and also conducting Seminar on Cancer Awareness programme. Shri Jayant Panchal, also spoke on Pensioners day importance.
Dr. Sanket Shah and Dr. Rahul Jaiswal spoke on ways and means to prevent Cancer and also how to handle the Cancer patient in family, when cancer is located. They also answered questions raised by the pensioners. They said that the Hospital is run by the Doctors themselves and there is no outside intervention for its functioning but for serving the patients.
The programme completed with lavish food by the Hospital Authorities.
