APPLICABILITY OF PRINCIPAL BENCH, CAT JUDGMENTS TO ALLOW FULL PENSION:
Recently, Principal Bench of Central Administrative Tribunal has delivered two judgments regarding applicability of full pension to those who retired with 10/20 years of service prior to 01.01.2006. Based on the recommendations of VI CPC, the Government had allowed this benefit only to those Government Pensioners who retired on or after 01.01.2006. But now the Central Administrative Tribunal has ordered extension of the benefit to pre-2006 pensioners also.
