BSNL BOARD ISSUES DETAILED ORDER FOR COVID-19 VICTIMS – EFFECTIVE FROM 01.04.2021.

The BSNL Management has issued a letter today, implementing BSNL Covid Fund (BSF). One day pay will be deducted from all willing employees and Management will contribute an equal amount. Rs.10 lakh will be given to the families of employees who died due to COVID-19 from 01.04.2020 onwards. Details of the employees who have died prior to 20.05.2021, should be intimated to the Management within 30 days. A BSF Committee is formed with seven members. Four representatives of Recognised Unions / Associations and three of Management representatives will be there in the Committee. The nominee of the deceased employee, to receive GPF / EPF will receive the relief amount of Rs.10 lakh.
