The Secretary BSNL/PSU, Bharat Pensioner Samaj, writes to CGM Gujarat enlightening him how the administration under his is working and requesting to expedite final disposal of the case.

Deviating from assigned duties by Shri Bhaumik R. Patel, Vigilance Officer, Valsad Telecom District – Case of Shri M.G. Patel, Retired Sr TOA (G) Valsad Telecom District on 31.07.2010 and he was acquitted by the Court on 16.09.2009 and copy of judgment was supplied to the Administration by the Pensioner. He was permitted to retire but all his pensionary benefits such as Gratuity, Computation etc. were with held and Vigilance Certificate was not issued. Though the rules issued by DOPPW and DoT issued in the year 2003 are clear that Vigilance Certificate will be issued against whom court cases (Other than departmental) are pending at the time of their retirement, provided such an employee is otherwise clear from vigilance angle.

When the District Secretary, BDPA (INDIA) Valsad District wrote to Vigilance Officer, o/o CGMT Ahmedabad, he was asked by the Vigilance Officer, o/o Valsad Telecom District to confirm  IN writing in given proforma replying as  to whether he had complained and provide so many information including representations made by the Pensioner which are normally to be demanded by incase of individual complained against anyone. As the Vigilance Officer, it sees to read and follow clear instructions from his higher-up, the Secretary BSNL/PSU, Bharat Pensioner Samaj, wrote a letter to CGM Gujarat enlightening him how the administration under his is working and requesting to expedite final disposal of the case.
