We had addressed a letter to Shri Manish Sinha, Member Finance, DoT on the issue of “A request to fix modus operandi for Pension Disbursement to BSNL Pensioners on due date.”.

We are happy that corrective action have been initiated and the following order is issued.

CPAO has issued a O.M vide No. CPAO/Banking Coord/Pension Disbursement/2024-25/145-208 dated 20th September 2024, reiterating that CPPCs of Authorized Banks are to credit the monthly pension/family pension in the account of pensioner/family pensioner by the last working day of the month and that any delay will be viewed seriously and necessary action as deemed fit will be taken.
