Shri B.L. Bhat, Circle Secretary, J & K had addressed the CGM J&K Vide his letter dated 30.11.2016 highlighting the problems regarding heavy telephone bills, Revision of pension as per 78.2% IDA fitment as per DOT New Delhi O.M. No. 40-13/2013-Pen (T) dated 18.o7.2016, undue delay in settlement of outdoor and indoor medical bills as well as non-Empanelment of private medical hospitals for indoor medical treatment of working employees & pensioners. It was also mentioned therein that if their grievances are not settled before 15.01.2016, they will stage Day Light Candle Show in his office. Due to local reasons the date was shifted to 06.01.2017 and they showed their strength. Hope the Administration will not force the Pensioners for more protest and programme which may tarnish the image of the Administration in the competitive era and expose the mind-set of the officers towards Pensioners issue.
