Joint Meeting of all the BSNL/MTNL Pensioners held on 19.10.2022 in Kidwai Bhawan Telephone Exchange 5th floor. Around 30 members were present. BDPA (INDIA) made its stand clear explaining as to why it is demanding implementation of BSNL/MTNL Pensioners Pension Revision as per 3rd P.R.C. Recommendations. Chaudhari H. F. and Kulkarni from Poona also spoke on similar lines throwing more lines. Thomas John said that while demanding Pension from Govt Consolidated Fund was not easy but we got it. Similarly we can also united try and achieve our goal. D. Chandrasekharan also spoke favouring Pension Revision as per 3rd PRC Recommendations. D.D. Mistry said that we should not be afraid that in future there will be no one discuss Wage Revision issue. Apprehension that only Direct Recruited Employees will be there makes no difference. Wages are demanded similar for Direct Recruited Employees and DoT applies till date and the same will continue. Other side placed its views. AIBDPA also spoke in favour of demanding Pension as per 3rd PRC Recommendations. Since unanimous decision was not possible; it was decided to meet again after consulting their counterparts.
