In a meeting Smt. Sujata T. Ray, Director (HR & FIN) on 14.09.2018 with AIBSNLEWA she informed that BSNL is undergoing serious fund problem and Govt. has imposed restriction to take bank loan for Operational Expenditure (OPEX) purpose. If BSNL don’t get Bank Loan for OPEX then Pensioners medical bills cannot be paid. She further suggested that the pensioners should immediately opt for CGHS by paying the requisite contribution. While expressing her regrets she advised to communicate the situation to all pensioners. It was pointed out that other than few cities CGHS facility is not good and in many places it is practically nonexistent.
