Meeting with CGMT BSNL J&K Circle – 27.11.2021
On 27.11.2021 a delegation headed by BDPA (I) Circle President Shri B L Bhat held a meeting with CGMT BSNL J&K Circle wherein pensioners related issues were discussed and discussion on following two main issues was focussed.
- Life certificate for Land line phone – retired employees living at far flung areas particularly female family pensioners frail and sick are unable to visit O/o Commercial officers for submitting life certificates. BSNL should also shift to online mode for procuring life certificates like ‘Praman Patr’ for pension
- All Medical bills which are kept pending in SSAs should be forwarded to Circle Office for making payments made as and when funds r available.
After giving a patient hearing the CGMT replied L/L phone issue will be discussed with staff to find a favourable solution. Regarding medical bills and allowance Corporate Office has been requested for releasing funds to the tune of Rs. 1.2 Cr against pending claims in J&K Circle CGMT and GM Finance were requested to pursue CO continuously for early release of funds.
