Meeting with Director (PSU) at DOT by President and General Secretary NFTE on 5th September, 2018:
During the discussion, the following Pension Related issues were also discussed.
(1) Relaxation in affordability clause for Pay revision of non-executive employees:- The Cabinet note for granting relaxation in affordability clause of DPE guidelines will be for executives and non-executives both.
(2) Pension revision of retired personnel before wage revision:- The DOT has sought clarification from Department of Pension if Pension revision can be done before wage revision.
(3) BSNL is depositing more than Rs. 700 crore per year to DOT as Pension contribution of its employees.
