Shri V. Srinivas, Secretary, DOPPW New Delhi addressed a meeting in Ahmedabad on 05.03.2024 in Dena Laxmi Building, Ashram Road Ahmedabad. The following Unions’ representatives were present.
1. BSNL & DOT Pensioners Association (India), Ahmedabad. (D.D. Mistry GS & R.C. Sharma Treasurer, participated).
2.Ahmedabad Central Govt. Pensioners Association, Gujarat Ahmedabad.
3. Ahmedabad P&T and other C.G. Pensioners, Association, Ahmedabad.
4. Vadodara C.G. Pensioners Association, Vadodara.
Shri V. Srinivas, Secretary spoke on the various facilities being extended to Pensioners Association to improve the working of the Associations. He was honoured with roses. He stressed on importance of WhatsApp’s group and said that Bharat Pensioner Samaj, flashes news in no time to more than two to three lac pensioners. In all the Association, it should have persons knowing rules and regulation, legal aspects of the case, printing of magazine and looking after the welfare of pensioners. On responding to demand of Associations to increase grand in aid, he said that he has proposed it to Five Lac, but not agreed upon.
D.D. Mistry gave written representation soliciting instructions to CCA Gujarat to provide minutes of Pension Adalats. He assured to look into.
Thereafter all visited office of Ahmedabad Central Govt. Pensioners Association, Gujarat Ahmedabad and all exchanged their views on various issues.
