MTNL/BSNL PENSIONERS’ PENSION REVISION STATUS AS ON 12.02.2024
From the meetings with the Secretary DoT on 12.02.2024 by several pensioners associations, it becomes crystal clear that the DoT is not going to implement the Pr.CAT judgment, saying as per their opinion the implementation has “wider ramifications”. However, the file is moving proposing a solution with one or two alternatives.
The applicant unions are it appears now, not in unanimity to file a contempt petition.
We still adhere to our demand for Pension Revision as per 3rd PRC recommendations with 15% fitment.
Doors for discussion and finding a permanent remedy for future pension revision can be strongly perused after achieving our Pension revision first.
We are contemplating a meeting of our Joint Forum in the near future.
