Bro. D.Gnaniah, Former Secretary General, NFPTE, expired ON 08.07.2017 at 04.30 hours at the age of 96, at Coimbatore.
He was former Secretary General of NFTE and towering personality of CG employees. He was arrested and remanded to Teehar Jail .He was the one of the organizer of 1968 strike. He sat on fast along with Com. Om Prakash Gupta to restore trade Union rights. He dedicated his entire life to the working class movement, and he will ever be remembered.
