Obituary – Our beloved leader Shri Shyam Sunder the legend of the Pensioners movement in India left for his heavenly abode this morning (16.12.2022) Fraternity of Pensioners bows in homage..

On 4th November, 2011, he had given award to Shri D.D. Mistry, General Secretary, BSNL & DOT PENSIONERS ASSOCIATION, GUJARAT CIRCLE, Ahmedabad in Bharatiya Vidya Bhawan, New Delhi for outstanding contribution towards for Efficient, Effective and Devoted service to Pensioners community by awarding DAYA MAHESHWARI TROPYY 2011. He was a person who recognized our contribution where Shri S.C. Maheshwariji was also present.

We have lost a solder who had devoted his entire life for upliftment of Pensioners Fraternity till last day of his life. We pray God to bestow upon him peace to his noble soul in heavenly abode. Out heartfelt consolation to his family and also Pensioners Community.

On 12th July, 2009 Sunday, The BSNL & DoT Pensioners Association, Gujarat Circle, Ahmedabad had launched its own web www.bdpa.in to cater needs of BSNL & DoT Pensioners of Gujarat in general India in particular. We have incorporated orders on 1st & 2nd Wage Revision in BSNL. We have membership in more than 16 Circles and have formed Circle Branch in Kolkata, W.B. Bihar, J & K, NTR, Gujarat, AP, Chennai Telephones, Tamilnadu, Kerala & Karnataka. We have more than 10000 members throughout the country.
