PENSIONERS DEPRIEVED OF THEIR PENSION IN RANIP PO FOR FIVE DAYS

The Pensioners who approached the Ranip PO on 30.06.2016 were on being inquired informed that they should come only on 04.07.2016 at New Office.Neither such instructions were notified nor they were guided properly as each one was trying to shirk from the responsibility.This has been due to inapt handling of the work of shifting Ranip PO to new building. Even on 04.07.2016, pensioners were not listened. On our persuasion, they had agreed to collect Pension Books and give chit for Pension Amount, which was called for from Navrangpura HO and disbursed at 16.00 hours. Even the counter were not erected nor telephone/lease line was given. All the Pensioners had to sit on the floor in humiliating conditions. We have represented to MOC in this regard. We can not blame the staff but definitely say that SSP Ahmedabad City has failed to have such collapsed of the machinery.
