We have approached the Secretary DoT New Delhi, Secretary DoP and the CPMG Gujarat to disburse Pension on 28.10.2016 in view of Diwali & New Year.

As you are aware that this year DEEPAWALI Falls on 30th October, 2016 and 31st October, 2016 is SARDAR PATEL JAYANTI.
Banks are disbursing the Pension before Deepawali Festival, whereas the Pensioners who are receiving their Pension from the Post Offices will get their Pension only o 31st October, 2016 and that being Festival Day; there will be skeleton staff in the post offices. So the Pensioners will suffer.
In all the State/Central Establishments the salary is being disbursed early to employees’ to celebrate festivals.
We therefore request you to kindly issue necessary instruction to all Postal Pension Paying Authorities to disburse Pension on 28th October, 2016.
