Talks between the AUAB and the Secretary, DoT

Talks between the AUAB and the Secretary, DoT were held today. It is observed that improvements are there in the issues of 4G Spectrum, Pension Revision and pension contribution. However, dead lock in prevailing in the issue of 3rd Pay Revision. The AUAB is not convinced with the reply given by the Secretary, DOT on the status of this issue.

Under these circumstances, with a view to ensure an opportunity for having a discussion with the Hon’ble MOS(C) on this issue, the AUAB decides to defer the strike for one week. Meeting is likely to take place tomorrow. In case a fruitful settlement does not arise in the meeting with the Hon’ble MOS(C), the strike will start from 00.00 Hrs. on 10.12.2018.

Prior to this meeting, three rounds of discussions were held on Friday and today with CMD., BSNL and Director (HR). Since the demands have to be settled by DOT and Government, those meetings ended without any solution.
