Report on the Circle Working committee meeting of Tamilnadu Circle
Circle working committee meeting of BDPA(I), Tamilnadu circle was held on 12.03.2019 at Tiruchirappalli under the chairmanship of Sri.K.R.Palanisamy, Circle President Sri.A.Kamal Batcha, District Secretary of Trichy SSA welcomed the participants. Sri.K.Vallinayagam, Ex-GS FNTO inaugurated the CWC.
Sri.G.Muthukumaran, AGS / FNTO, Sri.R.Jayapal, AGS, FNTO, T.Devarajan, A.Krishnamurthy, S.Nambiar, E.Bargunnan and T.V.Krishnan greeted the working committee. Sri.D.Chandrasekaran, Circle Secretary presented a report of activities of the Association. Sri.S.Kadher Sheriff, ACS, presented vote of thanks.
The issues of grant of pension to the one increment granted to Group-C employees in lieu of Grade IV Scale, Lineman scale granted to phone Mechanic trained RM/Gr D employees, Medical Benefits to BSNL retirees have been discussed in details and resolutions passed.
Revision of pension of BSNL retirees for the period from 01.01.2017 delinking the revision of wages of BSNL employees, payment of arrears of pension for the period from 01.01.2007 to 09.06.2013 consequent on the merger of 78.2% IDA were also discussed.
It was also decided to send as many delegates as possible to the 3rd AIC to be held at Thiruvalla in Kerala circle on 4th and 5th April 2019.
