The Central Board of Direct Taxes, Ministry of Finance, vide its F.No. 370142/13/2020-TPL dated 13.04.2020, has issued a clarification in the matter of exercising option by the individual Tax Payers either to continue with the old Tax regime by availing benefits of several tax exemptions or switch over to new tax regime without any exemptions under different Sections of IT Act.
